Education

Bentley University, Waltham, MA, Class of 2009

Major: Finance/Liberal Studies; Honors Society; Studied Abroad in Chile

Professional Experience

I have worked in a major US bank as an accountant for a billion dollar hedge fund, as a recruiter for a South Korean placement company, a cold-caller for a commodity futures sales organization, a sabermetric baseball blogger, and a conflict of interest researcher for a law firm.

Hobbies, Life Interests

Coding! I have spent the last few years learning Ruby/Python/HTML/CSS/Javascript in my free time, by candlelight, much to the chagrin of my girlfriend. The passion to create things on the web has taken ahold of me, shaken me, and will not let go. I am obsessed with numbers and data and finding new ways of showing their beauty.

Sports: I have been known to teach tennis lessons, as well as table tennis lessons and to participate in the local tournaments. I fancy any sport that I am challenged in, and always believe that if I try hard enough, I could beat anyone in anything.

Giving back: I work with Boston Partners in Education primarily, and also worked with YMCA in the past. Helping young, eager students to learn to read is one of the most rewarding things you can do. Try it some time!
